I turned to the darkside. Noel and I bought a Xbox. We picked up a pre-modded Xbox from ModChipSource for about $270. Yes we could have bought one at GameStop for $179 + $55 for the chip but I think of the extra $40 as a small price to pay for perfection (and not hosing a brand-new Xbox).

And we beat Contra last night in under 20 minutes.

That’s right, screw Xbox games. Noel’s on the computer playing Planetside all the time and today’s video games suck IMHO so we went back to Old Skool NES/SNES games! I think I’ll beat Simon’s Quest this weekend …
