Deadwood season 2 started last night. Al Swearengen is my hero. Hands-down second best show EVAR. Dallas is of course number one.

I read the Manga Screener translation of MONSTER. Unbelievably sweet is MONSTER. Please - if you can stand reading a comic book on your computer, download the MONSTER manga from them. It’s translated very well into English and it reads super-fast. I’m not going to lie to you - it’s 162 chapters, or 18 volumes of 220 pages each. Just don’t forget - it’s still a manga full of pictures. It took me maybe about 10 hours to get through it. MONSTER is one of the best stories I’ve ever read. Only Heir to the Empire and the Dragonlance books can stand close to it but I’m inclined to give MONSTER the edge. Seriously - give the first volume a read - I guarantee you will be hooked. I’m so buying these if/when they ever get released in the US. As a side note - AnimeKeep is fansubbing the series. They’re on ep 27/78 so if you want a quick fix then read the manga. There’s another fansubbing group on ep 40 or so but that’s up to you to figure out.
