My first fitness mini-goal last week was to hit 60mi on the elliptical in 7 days. Check. This week’s goal is to hit the gym M,T,Th with 10mi elliptical runs on W,F,Sa for a total of 42mi on the week. Wish me luck!

Aside from the near-freezing temperatures last night, yardwork season has officially begun! This year I’m armed with a brand new lawnmower. Faerie Glen will be in full effect in about a month assuming the roses cooperate!

Rachel and I just purchased a LifeFitness X7 Elliptical Cross-Trainer for the pirate room! Expensive but worth it. We each belong to two gyms and this adds a valuable third option for days we just can’t make it to the gym. We’re rearranging the pirate room to accommodate the beast this evening.

Rachel and I are back from our trip to Florida for Thanksgiving. We spent the holiday in Disney’s Magic Kingdom with my fam. She has the house decorated for Christmas already - two trees again this year. And she wants to buy a 12 foot tree for next year!

It’s that time of year again. We have 11 trees on our property and they’re about half-finished dropping their payload.
